Synopsis
Set in the Delaware Bay area of Southern New Jersey, a marina store and boatyard struggles to survive in an region where industry has long since left. Ike, an employee and lone optimist, works along-side Chet the philosopher-comic who struggles with a serious illness. The owner’s daughter Lily works at the store but becomes trapped by an addiction her entrepreneurial boyfriend Jake takes advantage of. Walt, the owner of the store, has set aside his dream of becoming the next Sinatra to run the failing business. His second-wife Snooks keeps a distrustful eye on the register and the employees. This is a tale that touches on matters familiar to all: family, love, grief, addiction, and the glimmer of hope within trials.
